Lauren Kleinman grew up in a small town called Wadsworth, Ohio.  After graduating high school with honors, she traveled to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University.

Lauren found her niche at Ohio State in the Fisher College of Business.  While earning a Business degree with a specialization in Human Resources, she joined multiple organizations and participated in volunteer work.  She also held two internship opportunities in human resources at Merrill Lynch and BMW Financial Services.

After graduating with a 3.6 GPA, she accepted a job with GEICO in a management training program in Virginia Beach, VA.  Lauren stayed with this company for over 2 years, during which time she stepped into a supervisory role.  However, she discovered that while she had a passion for helping associates in a business setting, she wanted to help them from outside the cubicle.

Within her weekly blog for Jobacle.com and occasional projects for JobMonkey.com, Lauren continues to help people make the work day a little better.  To keep her skills honed, Lauren currently manages a rehab office that offers chiropractic, physical therapy, and massage therapy.
